Medical History & Assessment

A comprehensive interview called a chiropractic medical history assessment is conducted by a chiropractor in order to gather detailed information about your health history, symptoms, and lifestyle habits. The chiropractor will inquire about various aspects of your pain, including its location, severity, and duration. They will also ask about any previous injuries or surgeries you may have had as part of your medical history. Additionally, the chiropractor may delve into your lifestyle habits such as diet, exercise routine, and sleep patterns

Spinal Evaluation

Spinal Evaluation

A chiropractic spinal evaluation is a physical examination that is conducted by a chiropractor to assess the health of the spine. The evaluation may include:

  • Palpation: The chiropractor will feel the spine for any areas of tenderness, muscle spasm, or misalignment.

  • Range of motion testing: The chiropractor will assess the range of motion of the spine and joints.

  • Strength testing: The chiropractor will assess the strength of the muscles in the back and neck.

  • Reflex testing: The chiropractor will test the reflexes of the arms and legs.

  • Orthopedic Neurological testing: Using special tests by the chirpractor to determine reflexes & nerve function and condition of the spine.

  • Imaging tests: The chiropractor may order imaging tests, such as X-rays, CT scans, or MRIs, to get a closer look at the spine and discs.
